OLA BETH BROWN KNIGHT

Beth "Mamaw" Brown Knight, a passionate and loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully Friday, March 23, 2018. Beth was 86. Service: A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. At a later date, she will be placed with her beloved granddaughter, Samantha Elizabeth Smith, in the mausoleum at Greenwood Memorial Park. Born April 5, 1931 in Blum, Beth was the daughter of Crado Cecil and Byrdette Carpenter Brown. Early in her life, she was a model; then held an administrative assistant position at General Dynamics. Her passion was her children. She was an extraordinary mother, embodying unfailing love, character, generosity and compassion. Beth will be deeply missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ina Faye Key, of Mansfield, on December 5, 2012; and her granddaughter, Samantha Elizabeth Smith of Colleyville, on November 6, 2012. Survivors: her children, Brent Knight and his wife, Farla, Cynthia Elizabeth Stevens, and Victor Sean Knight and his wife, Jacque; in addition to her children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and their families; and many friends.
