Fort Worth, Texas - Barbara Jean Sutherland Phillips closed her eyes here on earth and opened them in the presence of Jesus, her Lord and Savior at 8:00pm on Saturday, September 11. Barbara was the epitome of a life well-lived, and we rejoice in assurance that she heard “Well done, good faithful servant!” upon entering heaven. Service: Family and friends will gather at Robertson Mueller Harper from 10 to 11 am Saturday with a celebration of her life beginning at 11 am. She will be laid to rest at 3 pm Saturday next to her husband, Meredith, in Oxford Water Cemetery in Wise County. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Oxford Water Cemetery Association, c/o Melba Sanders, 991 Shadle Road, Poolville, TX 76487, in her memory is suggested.
