Mrs. CHARLOTTE PRENZLER GUILD

FORT WORTH -- Charlotte P. Guild passed away peacefully Sunday evening, Nov. 27, 2016. Mrs. Guild was 88 Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Trinity Terrace, 1600 Texas Street. She was laid to rest privately next to her husband, Bill, in Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, 3621 Tulsa Way, Fort Worth, Texas 76107, in her memory, is suggested. Born Dec. 6, 1927, Charlotte grew up in Harlingen. She married Bill Guild after meeting at choir practice. They were married 38 years before Bill's death in 1985. Years later, she reconnected with Harlingen native, Mike Powers. They were married until his death in 2006. Charlotte's smile lit up any room. She was a caring mother and wife. She was active in the choir and altar guild at Trinity Lutheran. Charlotte loved to dance, travel, read and play bridge, but her family always came first. We will miss you, Mom! You were the best. In addition to her daughters, Sharon Province and Colleen Howard, Charlotte is survived by her son Bill Guild; three grandchildren; sister, Evangeline Neese; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
