ANN BAILEY FERGUSON

Ann died unexpectedly on April 20, 2024. A service and internment will be held at All Saints Church, 5001 Crestline Rd, on Saturday April 27th at 1:00 PM

Raised in Fort Worth, Ann was a graduate of Country Day School and Mount Vernon College. She married George Ferguson in 1975 and was blessed with three children, George Jr., Catherine, and Robert. Ann was a member of the Assembly, debuting in 1974, and served as President in 2009. She was also a former president of Windsor Club.

Ann was passionate about family, friends and a variety of interests. She turned her love of needlepoint into a successful business called The French Knot. Her needlepoint work was displayed in the White House and is featured at All Saints Church. She loved Broadway— “Annie”, “Phantom of the Opera", and especially “Wicked” were her favorites. Ann enjoyed playing tennis and more recently focused on sharing a game of mahjong with friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Margie and Frank Bailey Jr. She is survived by her husband George; son George Jr. and his wife Christina, their children Sophie, Serena, and Maren; daughter Catherine and her husband Tyler Youngberg, their children Will, Caroline, and Allison; and son Robert; brother Frank Bailey III and his wife Linda; brother Bill Bailey and his wife Kaydee.
