RICHMOND BARRY BROWNING

Fort Worth, Texas – Born on October 10, 1965 in Waynesville, North Carolina, Barry’s family moved to Fort Worth in 1969 where he graduated from Southwest High School and Texas Christian University, where he was a trainer at both schools.

After college, he worked for many years at City Club as a personal trainer before joining the Dallas Cowboy Stadium as an escort for thousands of tours. He received many awards for his achievements during that time. He also worked with the Cotton Bowl organization for many years. He was a personal trainer up until his passing.

Barry loved sports of any kind! But his favorite thing to do was going fishing, especially with his Galveston family. He enjoyed travelling and going on cruises, volunteered for the Tarrant County Food Bank and attended Christ Chapel Bible Church.

In addition to his mother, Betty Reid, Barry is survived by his brother, Jimmy and his wife, Pam; sister, LeAnna Sharp and her husband, Kent; step-brother, Mike Reid and his wife, Terri; step-sister Melinda Shockley and her husband, David; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends who he loved dearly.

Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of His Life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July12, in the Chapel at Harper & Lucas, formerly ROBERTSON MUELLER HARPER.

Donations can be made to the Tarrant County Food Bank if desired.
