In Loving Memory of Bessie Blinderman Bodzy
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bessie Bodzy, who left this world peacefully on July 5 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 96 years old.
Bessie was a woman of quiet strength, deep kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 23, 1928, she lived a life filled with grace, compassion, and purpose. Her warmth and wisdom touched the lives of many—whether through a kind word, a fresh baked dessert, or simply her steady presence.
A devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, Bessie was the heart and soul of her family. Her home was a place of welcome, laughter, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she shaped and the lessons she passed on. She carried herself with dignity, humility, and grace, never seeking attention but always giving it generously.
Bessie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Irving Bodzy. She is survived by her three children: Allen Bodzy (Rebecca), LeeAnn Roseman (Jim), David Bodzy (Debbie); six grandchildren: Matthew Bodzy (Sara), Elizabeth Goldblatt (Drew), Allyson Roseman, Michael Roseman, Jacquelyn Bodzy, Jason Bodzy; three great-grandchildren: Alexander Bodzy, Haley Bodzy, Reese Goldblatt; her Sister-in-Law Marilyn Blinderman, and countless other nieces, nephews, and close friends who will continue to honor her memory with love and gratitude.
