Doris Serrault was a loving and adored wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and true gift to the world. She passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 29th at the age of 90.
She was the daughter of the late Barney and Ruth Shirack, born May 3, 1933, in Solomon, Kansas. Doris married the love of her life, Bill Serrault, on August 16, 1952 and remained his loving bride until her death. Their union was blessed with three children, in whose lives she will be forever cherished.
Doris loved her family and friends and will be remembered for her kindness to all. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She and her husband Bill worked tirelessly to provide opportunities and precious memories for their children and grandchildren. Holidays were one of those times, always full of love and laughter, and due to her hard work each one was the best ever. No one ever left her home without a walk to the door along with a good-bye hug, smile, and wave until she could no longer see you in view.
Survivors include her husband Bill Serrault of Fort Worth, TX; daughter Robin Waddell (Allen) of Fort Worth, TX; daughter Ronda Webb (Culpepper) of Madison, MS; and son Greg Serrault (Kellie) of Fort Worth, TX. She was also blessed and is survived by six grandchildren and spouses and nine great-grandchildren. Our family wishes to extend gratitude to the many caregivers from Stevenson Oaks Methodist Retirement Community, Silverado Hospice, and Overture Healthcare for all of their love and care.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
