Mr. EDWIN BERNARD "Ed" BOND

FORT WORTH -- Edwin Bernard Bond passed away on Saturday morning, Jan. 30, 2016. Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Congregation Ahavath Sholom Cemetery, 411 N. University Drive, with Rabbis Andrew Bloom and Sidney Zimmelman officiating. Shivah Minyan will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Congregation Ahavath Sholom, 4050 S. Hulen St. Memorials: No flowers, please, but donations may be made to Congregation Ahavath Sholom. Ed was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, graduating from Arlington Heights High School and the University of Houston. He was very involved with the Jewish community his entire life. Survivors: He is survived by his mother, Corrine Jacobson; children, Ari (Ellen) and Whitney; grandchildren, Dana and Zachary; and siblings, Steve (Cindy), Grant Jacobson (Janine), Elise Krug (Mark) and Diane Schneider (Mike).
