JOYCE SPRAY WOODARD

Fort Worth, Texas – Joyce Spray Woodard went home to join her Heavenly Father Friday morning, February 6.

A Service at the Grave will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday, February 11, in Greenwood Memorial Park.

A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Joyce spent brief periods in Big Bear, California. She found her sweetheart Eddie Woodard and married him on November 10, 1950. Together they spent 72 years before Eddie’s death in 2022.

Joyce, dedicated her life as a wife and mother to her family and many friends along her life journey. She had a strong spiritual belief in Christ as her Father and Savior and is now at rest in the presence of Jesus Christ.

In addition to her daughter, Jennifer Woodard Dionisi and her husband, Joe, Joyce is survived by her “Oldest” son, Edmond Davis Woodard Jr. and his wife, Linda, and her “Youngest” son, Michael Gene Woodard and his wife, Cathy; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in her memory, is suggested.
