Lenore Harriet Rabinowitz, beloved wife, mother, and Nana, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born on July 5, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, she lived a life defined by love, strength, resilience, and generosity. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud Nana to three cherished grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. To those who knew her, she was much more than a family member—she was a source of wisdom, laughter, encouragement, and unconditional love. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen, valued, and capable of more than they believed possible. Her strength and optimism helped shape the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She taught those she loved to embrace life fully, to take risks that could lead to great rewards, and never to let fear stand in the way of happiness. Her selfless love, guidance, and unwavering support empowered her family and friends with confidence, purpose, and countless treasured memories. As a wife, she was a loving and devoted partner for almost 65 years. As a mother, she was a guiding force, steadfast supporter, and trusted confidante. As a Nana, she lived for enjoying the accomplishments, milestones, and moments shared with her grandchildren.
While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the lives she touched, and the love she shared so freely. Her spirit remains a constant source of inspiration, guiding her family toward brighter days ahead. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Rabinowitz, her children, Gregory Rabinowitz and his wife, Karen, and Barbra Odom and her husband, Lane, and her three grandchildren, Brandon and his wife, Deirdre, Andrew and Tyler, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Though words can never fully express how deeply she will be missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that her love forever endures and that one day they will be reunited with her again.
