Miss LINDSAY LOUISE MUCKLEROY

April 2, 2014 — November 22, 2023

Lindsay Louise Muckleroy, a precious daughter, granddaughter and friend, passed away Wednesday evening, November 22, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 4 pm Friday, December 15, in the Sanctuary of University Christian Church. 2720 S. University Drive. She will be laid to rest privately with her father and brother in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Lindsay was born on April 2, 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas and was a 4th grader at Tanglewood Elementary School. Lindsay dabbled in all sorts of activities but most recently loved tumbling, softball and volleyball. Although she loved her own two dogs, Bella and Birdie, with all of her heart she had an undying love and affection for pugs. She loved her friends and was a social butterfly. She would have had a friend over every minute of every day, if possible.

She and her dad shared a love for all things sweet, especially candy and ice cream. They loved their outings sharing frozen yogurt together. She loved being in or near water and would jump at the chance to swim whenever she could. She had also developed a recent love for wake surfing behind their boat at Possum Kingdom Lake. She attended 2 summers at Camp Mystic and loved her time swimming and fishing in the Guadalupe River while bonding with special camp friends. Like most 9 year-old girls, she also loved Taylor Swift and celebrated her last birthday attending her concert with dear friends. Lindsay truly loved her family and especially enjoyed playdates and sleepovers with her cousins.

Lindsay was very kind, but prided herself on being feisty and would risk just about anything to stand up for a friend who was wronged. She was strong-willed and determined. Even when things were difficult, she never gave up. She was spunky and fun loving and always wanted to be around the people she loved.

She is survived by her mother, Lauren Muckleroy; grandparents, Pat and Harold Muckleroy and  David and Debbie Johnson; great-grandmothers, Ellen Saunders, Sue Muckleroy and Virginia Conrad,; Aunt, Alyson Gasper and Uncle Steve Gasper; Aunt Christina Westfall and Uncle Jay Ellwanger; Aunt Melanie Dow and Uncle Jim Dow; Uncle Stephen Westfall and Aunt Lindsey Westfall; Uncle David Muckleroy and Aunt Madison Muckleroy; Uncle Jon David Johnson and Aunt Heather Johnson; Uncle Jeff Johnson; and 15 cousins.
