William Frederick "Fred" Lee, a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, during his 55th year. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper with the Rev. Gary Metz of Calvary Baptist Church, Crowley, officiating. Following the chapel service, Fred will be laid to rest in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: He will lie in state Wednesday at the funeral home, where family and friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. in the Great Room. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Box 1320, Fort Worth, Texas 76101, in his memory, is suggested. Born in Fort Worth on March 14, 1957, Fred was the son of William A. and Ellinor Pohlmann Lee. He was a simple man with a kind and gentle soul who would do anything for anyone at any time. Fred never married and had no children, but loved his pets and when his beloved pet, Mercy, passed away, he kept a friend's dogs, Daisy and Chico. He was a short haul truck drive for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents. We love you, Fred; you will be missed. Survivors: In addition to his brothers, Robert L. Lee and wife, Linda J., and Sherman B. Lee, Fred is survived by his sister, Dagmar Baganz, all of Fort Worth; nephews, Derek Lee and wife, Larrissa; Jasan Baganz and wife, Ashley, and Sherman B. "Wulf" Lee II; niece, Kristin Baganz; and many other family members and friends.
